We had a pleasant stay at Extended Stay America Suites, Amarillo, West. The room was spacious and equipped with a comfortable kitchenette, which made it easy for us to prepare some snacks. The beds were cozy, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the space. The staff was friendly and responsive, making check-in a breeze.

Make no mistake, the room was cleaner than I expected, really excellent. And not having any dog hair around was a relief.

I loved the cleanliness of my room and the well-organized arrangement of furniture. It was just a short walk to some amazing restaurants and parks like the Don Harrington Discovery Center and the Canadian River Wagon Bridge.

Unfortunately, there were major cleanliness issues, with overflowing trash and poor maintenance throughout the common areas. Though there was a staff member present, their focus on socializing outside seemed to overshadow guest service, resulting in a noisy, unkempt environment.

the location is great, especially for those visiting the nearby health care centers. the front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us switch rooms. while our second room still had a strange smell, at least they tried to make our stay better.
